Jane Greco Deming currently serves as Founder and Principal Consultant at Jane Greco Deming & Associates, based in Warwick Rhode Island. Previously, she worked for four years as Director of Humane Education for American Humane Association, fourteen years as Director of Education at the Providence Animal Rescue League, and one year as Interim Director at PARL. Additionally, Jane’s 30+ years of experience include zoo management, wildlife rehabilitation and disaster preparedness for animals (DART) work.
Jane studied Business Management at Johnson & Wales University, received her Association of Zoos & Aquarium Certification in Zoo Management through North Carolina State University, and was a federally licensed and certified in wildlife rehabilitator. Jane was also critical founding member of the Rhode Island Animal Response team and certified animal disaster responder.
Jane is well respected both locally and nationally for her networking skills, the creation of many innovative programs and projects in her field, and is an in-demand national speaker with a reputation for presenting powerful and informative programs.
Jane has been featured in multiple publications including USA Today, The Latham Letter, The Warwick Beacon, The Association of Professional Humane Educator’s newsletter The Packrat, the nationally syndicated Mini Page and many more. She has been a successful grant writer as well. She serves on boards including Southwick’s Zoos’ Earth Ltd Zoo Education Project , and is former Vice President of the Executive Board of the Association of Professional Humane Educators, and is a member of the Rhode Island Feral Cat Working Group. She shares her Warwick home with her husband, pets, and enjoys spending time with her close family.
